10 Days of Giving is the last major food and cash drive of the year for the Winona Volunteer Services Food Shelf. This community-wide event is coordinated by Merchants Bank and supported by area businesses, churches, schools and individuals. Last year, the 10 Days of Giving campaign collected 265,529 pounds of food which is a combination of the food and cash donations collected.
Monetary donations can be mailed directly to Winona Volunteer Services, 402 East Second Street Winona MN 55987 or online via the WVS website at www.winonavs.org. Indicate 10 Days of Giving after entering your name to ensure that your gift is counted for 10 Days.

Wednesday, December 1 Steak Shop Catering Red Trailer Lunch
11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Merchants Bank – Downtown, Parking Lot
Come down for a taco salad or a pulled pork sandwich meal via the traveling Steak Shop Catering Red Trailer in our Merchants Bank parking lot! Cash, credit or debit available upon ordering. Cost is $7.50. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to the 10 Days of Giving.

Saturday, December 4 Pack The Bus to Drive Out Hunger

Just drive up with your monetary gifts or non-perishable food items and we’ll pack it in the school bus. They will be handing out cookies and you’ll have a chance to see Santa.

Partnering with Leighton Broadcasting’s Border Battle Tailgate Party. Cheer on the Vikings while enjoying drink specials and appetizers provided by Sliced and Ground Round! Join us for $3 rail mixers and $1 off any tap beer as well as a chance to win Vikings vs. Bears tickets. Leighton Broadcasting will host their Tailgate Party from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Admission is simply a cash donation or donation of non-perishable food items.
Sunday, December 5 Holiday Concert for the Hungry

WSU Performing Arts Center – 450 Johnson Street in Winona Enjoy an annual holiday concert performed by the Winona State University Symphonic Wind Ensemble. Admission is the gift of non-perishable food items or monetary donation.
Friday, December 10 Friday Night Fish Fry

Enjoy a fish dinner for only $13. Get your choice of batter-fried or broiled cod, choice of baked potato or fries, coleslaw and dinner roll. Dine in or carry out. Advanced tickets at Merchants Bank-Downtown Winona. Tickets can also be purchased at the door the night of the event.
