The Winona Volunteer Services facility at 402 East 2nd Street will be closed on Tuesday September 19th and Wednesday September 20th.
The Food Shelf will be closed and staff will be working remotely those two days. Staff will respond to emails and voice messages but they will not be in the building.
If anyone needs to use the food shelf next week please plan to visit on Monday September 18th between 10am – 12:45pm. Otherwise the food shelf will reopen on Thursday September 21st from 3pm – 5:45pm.
Our contractor has advised us not to occupy the building while the new precast walls are being installed on the west side, closest to our existing building, as a safety measure. These walls weigh tons!!!
Please do not bring any donations of food or produce on those two days either. No one will be in the building to accept them.
