10 Days of Giving Food Drive!
Last year 175,281 pounds of food was collected during "10 Days of Giving", setting a twenty year record. This year, the final total reached 250,536 pounds.
We recieved over $103,821 in donations and 42,894 pounds of food.
A BIG Thank You to all the people who gave these contributions. You have no idea what a relief it is to know that our community food shelf has the resources in place to meet the food demands of 2010.
And a BIG thank you to all the volunteers who spent time with us sorting the food donations over a four day period.
